Faces of Detroit magazine is committed to providing its readers with fresh and exciting editorial pages. Each issue will feature stories about our friends, neighbors and the community at large. We will showcase FACES with style, FACES making a difference in the community and FACES having fun in and around the city. However, we need to know who these FACES are! What Does Your FACE Say About You?

Instead of being defined by what we do … we should be defined by who we are! What does your FACE say about you? This is quite possibly one of the most difficult questions to ask of someone. So take a moment and let us know in one word, what your FACE says about you. We’re looking for genuine, unique responses that directly relate to your “interior” not your exterior. Once you’ve chosen your one “word” send it to us along with your name, age, email or phone, and a 5 x 7 - color photo of your FACE and a description of why you chose your “word”. The City Flow Project

Calling all poets and spoken word artists! What are your hopes for the city of Detroit? Why are you dedicated to the motor city? What positive changes are you most proud of? FACES of Detroit Magazine is looking for poetry or prose that speaks to our readers and collectively uplifts our hometown. FACES of Detroit is committed to reestablishing a true sense of community by introducing our readers to the true FACES of Detroit ... one FACE at a time. So help us unite our friends and neighbors with your voice speaking about the positive attributes of Detroit. Your "City Flow Project" should be less than 200 words. Please keep it clean! Include your name, age and contact information. We believe that strong communities are cultivated through the efforts of those who are genuinely dedicated to making a difference.
